Igloo craft!!!

Hello!!!! Today I am writing about a fun craft I did today. Here is a picture of it.

It is a really fun craft to do. You use paper cups for the base. You cover the paper cups in a thick coat of icing. Then you stick mini marshmallows to the icing. It is really fun and interesting!!! I ate a few marshmallows well I worked!! Here is another photo!!! It is a igloo!! This is a igloo craft!!

Our grandparents cat Lenny just passed away Wednesday the 27th of January 2021 

Luckily he lived a happy life. My grandparents do not know when he was born but they 

Did figure out that he was about 4 years old.

       From what I know  he lived under a porch with two super scary dogs above him.

When he was rescued by the rescue society my grandparents fostered him but 

they fell in love with him instantly. 2 years later he died of heart damage and 

blood clots. When my grandpa saw him dragging his leg they rushed him of to

the vets.

    

   He died peacefully

Cute Little Kirby

 Today I am writing to tell you about this really cute stuffy that I got a while a go!! Her name is Kirby. I named her after the video game character Kirby. She is a octopus. 

Kirby is really cute and her favorite food is salted fish tacos and pretzels. Kirby also really likes mint ice cream. She really likes to swim and fly. Kirby has eight little tentacles. A fun thing we did together recently was watch a Harry Potter movie. She and I really enjoyed that. We also read a really good Pokémon book. She loves playing Pokémon battles. She loves to smile all the time. She is really soft and fuzzy. She looks like she has been tie dyed. She is so big that she can be a really big and awesome pillow. She is really awesome. I hope you enjoyed hearing about Kirby.

Hat Craft

Step 1. Cut your toilet paper. It should be 2.5cm tall

Step 2. Cut your yarn pieces. Start with 25 pieces. They should be 24cm long.

Step 3. Hold your toilet paper roll vertically and once you have the piece of yarn you fold it in half , make a loop and put the loop under the toilet paper roll, take your two stringy bits and put them through the loop and pull the strings tight. Slide to snuggle up against other yarn bits. Add more pieces until the toilet paper tube is covered.

Step 3.Pull all your yarn pieces to one side. Then put a piece of yarn under the hat.  

Step 4. Tie the piece of yarn that you put under the hat in a knot. 

Congratulations for making a hat!!! 

You can use these for tree ornaments or for stuffy hats just to name a few things you can use this craft for.

Going to Frank Slide

 It was so cool but it scared me a little bit. I was so shocked when I saw a movie about the rock slide. 110 million tonnes of rock fell, covering part of the town of Frank. The Frank Interpretive Centre was so cool. It had a dinosaur skeleton head. We got sparkly rocks. - Wigglytuff

We went to Frank Slide, the deadliest rock slide in Canada. About 90 people died from the Frank Slide disaster. When I watched the movie I was really scared. We also saw a little clip about how Turtle Mountain will fall again. Turtle mountain is where all that rock came from. I actually thought that was going to happen on top of my head! It was humongous!!! - Inteleon

We went to Frank Slide. It surprised me how much rock fell down. It was like two whole school fields of rock fell down Turtle Mountain. It was amazing how big some of the rocks were! We even got to climb on them. Bye bye - Mew

This is Oobleck.

It is a non newtonian fluid. What that means is that if you apply  pressure it will be a solid but if you don’t it is a liquid. To make oobleck you must combine water and cornstarch and then mix. It is sleimy.
